EU grants financial support for Baltic Pipe under the CEF Energy 2017

The Baltic Pipe Project has been granted financial support under the Connecting Europe Facility Programme (CEF). The European Commission’s proposal to grant financial assistance was accepted by the Member States on 25 January 2017.

Baltic Pipe will receive a total of EUR 33.1 million for preparatory works up to obtainment of all necessary permits in Poland and in Denmark.

The Connecting Europe Facility (CEF) is a key EU funding instrument to promote growth, jobs and competitiveness through targeted infrastructure investment at European level. It supports the development of high performing, sustainable and efficiently interconnected trans-European networks in the fields of transport, energy and digital services.
