GAZ-SYSTEM: Ongoing consultations concerning the issue of the environmental consent decision for the Goleniów-Lwówek gas pipeline

The Regional Director for Environmental Protection in Gorzów Wielkopolski commenced the procedure for the issue of the environmental consent decision for the project of GAZ-SYSTEM consisting of the construction of the Goleniów-Lwówek gas pipeline. This project is a part of the Baltic Pipe project. All concerned parties are entitled to examine the route of the gas pipeline. The consultations will be conducted until 25 October 2018.

The Goleniów-Lwówek gas pipeline will be constructed in three provinces: West Pomerania Province, Lubusz Province and Greater Poland Province. It will pass through the following municipalities: Goleniów, Maszewo, Stargard Szczeciński, Dolice, Przelewice, Pełczyce, Strzelce Krajeńskie, Zwierzyn, Santok, Deszczno, Skwierzyna, Przytoczna, Pszczew, Międzychód and Lwówek. The gas pipeline is one of the 5 projects implemented as part of the Baltic Pipe project in Poland. The remaining projects are the gas pipeline connecting the Baltic Pipe to the national transmission system and three gas compressor stations: Goleniów, Gustorzyn and Odolanów.

At this moment, the design documentation is being prepared for the project. The issue of the environmental consent decision is an important part of these activities. All stakeholders may actively participate in every stage of the administrative procedure, i.e. examine the documentation of the case and submit their comments and requests. The materials concerning the planned project can be examined at the office of the Regional Directorate for Environmental Protection in Gorzów Wielkopolski.
